Mental Wellbeing amongst SEN students During Covid19 and transferring these skills to the wider community
I can’t cope anymore! Covid19 is having a massive impact on the mental wellbeing of children and adults alike, and especially those with learning difficulties, and is likely to continue to do so long after we return to ‘new normal’. How can we deal with the effects of isolation and stress the situation has placed on all of us? During my talk I will give practical tips and advice on how to help SEN students and their parents, and how these measures can be applied across all of the community.

I’m a teacher, educator and speaker, specializing in Special Educational Needs, Counselling, Behaviour and Classroom Management, as well as the Future of Education and 21st Century strategies. I work with children who have behaviour and learning difficulties, including ASD and ADHD, as well as working with parents and teachers of struggling children. I am the Clinic Director of the Oxford Wellbeing and Behaviour Clinic based in Tangsel, and lead the Counselling Department at Jakarta Nanyang School in BSD City.
