✨ EARLY YEARS WORKSHOP 2026 ✨
“The Heart of Social-Emotional Learning: Connecting Deeply with Young Children”

The Early Years Workshop held on Saturday, 7 February 2026 at Trehaus School Jakarta was attended by around 80 participants and reached full capacity. The strong turnout reflected educators’ growing commitment to strengthening Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) practices in their schools.

Based on participant feedback, both sessions left a powerful impression. Many highlighted the practical strategies on mindfulness and emotional intelligence, especially how these approaches can support children in understanding, managing, and regulating their emotions. The breakdown of mindfulness practices and how to integrate SEL into daily routines were particularly appreciated.

Active listening emerged as one of the most impactful takeaways. Participants valued the role-play activities, real classroom examples, and hands-on strategies that demonstrated how active listening can become a powerful tool to connect with children more meaningfully.

Educators also expressed appreciation for the engaging sharing sessions, thoughtful Q&A discussions, and the relatable way theories were connected to real classroom challenges. Many shared that the workshop reminded them of the importance of regulating themselves first in order to be emotionally present for their students.

Overall, the workshop was described as practical, inspiring, and well-prepared, with experienced speakers and positive participant energy throughout the day. ANPS is grateful for the enthusiastic participation and looks forward to continuing to support educators in nurturing emotionally intelligent young learners.
