This is paramount to any learning. Emphasizing that belonging is a basic need for all of us as described on Maslow’s hierarchy of needs, Mrs. Shelley will then share a few ideas that have been successful for the online learners to keep them motivated and engaged during online learning. Mrs Shelley Gibson is an experienced teacher and Educational Leader in the Primary and Early years Sectors. She has taught in New Zealand, Sudan, Qatar and Jakarta. Qualifications include a masters in Education, Post Grad certificate in Educational Leadership and a Bachelor of teaching and learning. Shelley is also a Mother to 5 adult sons and grandmother to three grandsons. She is a firm believer the key to a successful, learning focussed classroom and school is by building strong reciprocal relationships with all stakeholders and in making learning fun!
