Dr. Suryadiputra Liawatimena, S.Kom, PgDip.App.Sci. holds a Doctor of Computer Science degree from
Bina Nusantara University, focusing his research on computer vision to recognize and measure the length of objects; a Doctor of Science Education from Curtin University of Technology; a Postgraduate Diploma in Applied Science (Computer Studies) from Edith Cowan University; and a Bachelor of Computer Science
from STMIK Bina Nusantara, majoring in Computer Engineering.
Since 1990, Dr. Liawatimena has served as a lecturer and Associate Professor at Bina Nusantara University. Currently, he also serves as a Specialist Lecturer for the PhD program at Binus ASO School of Engineering and as the General Coordinator for the KORIKA program (Research and Innovation Collaboration in Indonesian AI Industry) in the field of Artificial Intelligence.

Abstract: In this workshop, the participants will get familiar with the different features that should already be included in education in order to prepare future-ready students. Educational apps that can be used on a daily basis will be reviewed as well as more advanced technologies such as the Active Floor and VR Goggles. Technology has become more important in our everyday life and in education in particular in the past few years. This workshop will help educators innovate and adapt their teaching strategies to this new context. |
Bio: Fabien has been an educator in various IB and Cambridge schools in Indonesia for the past 18 years. He will be pleased to share his experience in using IT tools related to the teaching and learning process with other educators. |

His leadership experience includes key positions in Change Leadership at two of London’s most successful schools serving students from challenging socio-economic backgrounds. Bio: Ionel is the Technology Coordinator and Design teacher at Bali Island School who has been working at an international school since 2010 in Romania, Germany, and now Indonesia. Passionate about technology and robotics, he has mentored and inspired students to pursue STEM and “STEMpathy” – finding solutions while exploring different perspectives. Ionel believes in building a sustainable future through innovation and preparing students for the challenges of tomorrow. Elizabeth is the IB Librarian at Bali Island School and has 15 years of experience in international education. A specialist in literacy and research, Elizabeth is passionate about inquiry and supporting life-long learners. As new technologies emerge, she has embraced the evolving landscape of research support by focusing on integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI).
