ANPS members have more reason to rejoice as a new benefit launched this year includes school tours. We believe that the best way to learn is through collaboration and sharing with others, and the school tours are designed to serve as an avenue for this.
Jakarta Intercultural School recently opened their new STEAM building, focusing on the integration of Science, Technology, Engineering, The Arts and Mathematics. Teachers and leaders from ANPS member schools traveled from Bandung, Surabaya and from the greater Jakarta area to experience the tour.
The tour was facilitated by Mr. Christophe Henry (MS Principal) and Mr. Daniel Machacek, and was opened by our committee member Dr. Tarek Razik. The participants had much to gain as the theory and explanation behind the program was delivered prior to the tour experience. On the tour, participants had the opportunity to interact with teachers, students and to see learning in action.
A question and answer session took place at the end, with participants seeking for clarification and discussing ideas. ANPS would like to thank JIS for opening its doors to other educators in Indonesia.
